Lilith Saylor is an Executive Associate for Planet Reimagined based in Brooklyn, NY, and considers herself a generalist who loves to learn. She has previously been employed researching various topics in development studies including microfinance and agricultural digital technology; she was also the Head of Marketing at the biotech startup OspreyBio. Her family history in the Appalachian region has given her a fascination with the intersection of technology and social justice, particularly concerning economic equality and rural development. This fascination led her to pursue research questions around rural economic development and the distinct digital culture forming in Karnataka villages as a Fulbright researcher in India. Outside of work, she enjoys dancing tango, learning new languages, and playing D&D.
